Finsen (1826) (son of Olafur Hannesson Finsen (1793) and Maria
Nicoline Møller (1803) ) was based in Akureyri Iceland. Few years
later he moved to Denmark. His wife was Sophie Wilhelmine Funck.
While their stay in Akureyri they adopted two children, Hlaðgerður
(Gerda) Laxdal daughter of Jon Laxdal (1831) and Elin Helgadottir,
and Carl Ole Robb Biering son of Moritz Wilhelm Biering (1831) and
Ingeborg Amilie Robb (1830) ).
